Below are some examples of raised and recessed fireplaces. In general, the Hearth a Fyre™ does not work with raised or recessed fireplaces (we do have a special kit for recessed fireplaces - call for details) because the front air diverter bar must rest on the hearth. Modifications can be done. A platform must be built out of brick or tile for the front air diverter bar and fan box to rest on. If you do have a raised or recessed fireplace, before purchasing, call us for options.
