As we all know, the cost of heating our home has risen very dramatically in the last few years. Heating oil, natural gas and electricity have all been rising. Even the cost of fireplace inserts, wood stoves and pellet stoves have risen as much as 35% in the last couple Winters alone. It only makes sense to maximize the efficiency of our heating systems. The Hearth a Fyre™ was invented by the world famous “Dan the Fireplace Man”. With over 50 years of experience in manufacturing fireplace products, Dan and his team of engineers set out to design a heat exchanger system for gas fireplaces. What they came up with is a gas log heating system that is changing the gas log industry. More than just a heat exchanger, but a complete system that brings your logs to life and raises the efficiency of your gas fireplace and helps you get the most heat possible from it. Each component is designed to give your gas logs the Highest Heat Output, Unmatched Efficiency and Life Like Realism with a heat exchanger that was never before available. The patented burner is the first of its kind. No detail was forgotten, even down to the pitch on the logs, the burning embers and the crackle of the fire. This is the first “do it yourself” gas fireplace heat exchanger system that can be installed by any home owner.

How it works... Set-up and operation is quite simple. First, the fan draws in cool air from the floor. Then, the air moves through the plenum (radiator) where it is heated. Finally, the heated air emerges from the front air diverter bar and spreads throughout the home. The Hearth a Fyre™ is easy to install and fits just about all gas fireplaces - even gas fireplaces with existing wire mesh screens or glass doors. The quiet fan (UL listed motor) has a variable speed control - like a dimmer switch on a light. Finally, the plenum (radiator) and side tubes are made of virtually indestructible heavy duty cast iron. So the Hearth a Fyre™ will last.

Here's how it saves... In a normal vented gas fireplace most of the heat goes up the chimney. But the Hearth a Fyre™ captures much of that heat and sends it back into the home. Because it's made of cast iron, it practically sucks heat from the fire. The heat it saves will help warm your home. This means thermostats can be turned down, or off, cutting your fuel bills substantially. The Hearth a Fyre™ will be a great addition to your gas fireplace.
